2020
Stand Back!
or come much, much closer.
2020 works were all completed in Austin, TX. As the first year of professional art discipline, this is an inaugural collection of work that represent the dynamic nature of the year as well as the personal dynamics of evolving faith and love. The work directly engages the viewer by placing the curious, creative gaze as the subject of the painting and the viewer as the central object. Colors follow a preconscious color theory to recognize the specific philosophical proposition in the work. As an abstract painting, the specifics of the conscious interpretation are as diverse and dynamic as the viewers themselves. Therefore, the works act as catalyst to transform the deepest understandings of individual experience without needing to prescribe any specific faith or ideology. An intensely phenomenal non-denominational faith in conscious evolution via surreal experience. Embrace curiosity, follow your eyes carefully, and enjoy!
Space Time Baby
Acrylic and Oil on Canvas. 48" x 32" Id#1
An introduction into creative modes of experience. An individual, with blurred identity, sitting on a bench unconcerned by the violence that surrounds them and unaffected by the void they seem to rest within; albeit experience at the mercy of the force projectile. How must this process look to the seated individual? Strangely familiar.

Slippery When Wet Paint
Acrylic on Canvas, 60" x 72" Id#2
When you slip on fresh paint, you brace and find yourself face to face with the sunflower bouquet and emerging bud. To it, you must be the sun. So you push yourself up with rainbow hands and walk onwards with bloodied and calloused feet.
